The Situation

 

Zebra Fine Dining and Catering is a world-class restaurant located in Charlotte, NC, with Four Diamond award-winning service, private rooms, an incredible menu, and an award-winning wine list. SeedSpark designed and implemented a website and digital marketing strategy enhanced inbound and outbound marketing efforts.

 

The Challenge

As a fine-dining establishment, Zebra struggled with a dated WordPress website that did not align with the brand strategy and high-end market positioning of the restaurant. Their numerous WordPress plugins were a security risk that had the potential to allow outsiders to manipulate the site. The OpenTable reservations integration was not streamlined and consistent with the branding. Zebra had inconsistent social media updates and outbound marketing strategies.


The Dream

A website that enhanced Zebra’s high-end cuisine and service, recognized Zebra’s awards and achievements, and allowed customers to make reservations without hassle. Zebra also wanted a marketing program that would utilize their distribution list, highlight events, emphasize their catering, breakfast, lunch and private dining opportunities, and make their gift cards more readily available.

 

The Results

The new website provides a design that matches Zebra’s offerings. SeedSpark used food and room photography that enhances the appearance of the cuisine and emphazises the ambiance of the restaurant. It also provides a portal for customers to buy gift cards and easily make reservations. Though Zebra has always been known as one of Charlotte’s premier destinations for dinner, Seedspark saw areas of opportunity to grow the business. Through weekly email marketing with professional design, SeedSpark has promoted special events and weekly specials. Our management of Zebra’s social media has created more consistent posts that reflect the brand of the restaurant and reaches the target audience.

Zebra’s new website and outbound marketing campaign better aligns with the Zebra brand and their target audience and has significantly increased Zebra’s business.


The Situation

Leigh Whicker is a candle connoisseur with a refined taste for scents, which extends from personal hobby and preference. Noting the difference in user experience of an excellent candle with premium ingredients to an unevenly burning, artificially scented counterparts, Leigh started experimenting with her own candle creations. She started creating her own candles that produced an aroma that weaves its way into her own story. SeedSpark helped Light Your Whick on its entrepreneurial journey to create a brand that is as memorable as the scents Leigh has crafted.

With this new, strong brand, Leigh has been able to expand her candle line – selling seasonal and regular scents. With powerful direct buying power, Morrison Smith Jewelers can compete with anyone in the market on fine diamonds and precious metal jewelry. While designer lines are available, custom jewelry design, repair and revisions earned Morrison Smith Jewelers a sterling reputation. SeedSpark helped the jewelry store revamp their brand with a new website and marketing efforts.

While Morrison Smith Jewelers is known for their fine and custom jewelry, their website was outdated and did not represent the brand strategy. Additionally, they were not participating in marketing efforts toward their target customers. .

The old, ad-focused website was replaced with an elegant website developed by SeedSpark. Morrison Smith Jeweler’s new website aligns with the brand and shows off their custom jeweler and designer lines – drawing target customers to the products and leading to more purchases. Through monthly email newsletters, social media marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest, direct mailers for events, and more, Morrison Smith Jewelers has a more unified online brand that current and potential customers can identify. Additionally, the marketing efforts have led to conversions.
