Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Administrator works closely with the SeedSpark sales team and accounting team to provide accurate information to all departments for quick turnaround times for quoting and to ensure a seamless purchasing process and resolution of issues for our clients.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team, accounting team and engineering team to ensure required information has been gathered for accurate quotes for clients
  • Create engineering tickets with information included for client opportunity
  • Research information for engineering needs and ensure all required information is relayed before generating engineering requests
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or confirm information needed to address scope of work
  • Assist sales team with tracking the status of projects or the status of an order that has been placed

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on IT help desk experience required.

Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk that is comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative environment. This position requires a team player who is comfortable collaborating directly with clients and other members of the SeedSpark team. While most of our products and services are consistent; our client’s environments are unique and require a strong attention to detail and high level of execution. You will be expected to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.

Primary functions include:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Process approved opportunities in our CRM, setup billing milestones and order/receive in product.
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner .
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel .
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Constantly update job knowledge.

What are we looking for in a person?:

  • Deductive reasoner.
  • Technical in nature.
  • Appreciates and wants to implement processes.
  • Comfortable with a variety of active tasks and projects and running at a fast pace.
  • Gets excited to learn and believes that knowledge is power .
  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers.
  • Ability to perform digital filing and record keeping tasks.
  • Data entry and word processing skills.
  • Well organized.

Working Conditions:
Primarily in an office environment.

  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Dependable transportation and up to date vehicle insurance.

Desired Experience/Certifications:

  • At least two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
  • Associates degree or higher a plus.
